It can affect how you see yourself, your relationships, your routines, and even your sense of where you belong.
Some days the loss may feel close and consuming. Other days, you may find yourself moving between grief and the rest of life in ways that are difficult to understand.
At Daylight Grief, you don’t have to grieve a certain way or follow a particular timeline.
Grief counseling offers a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and find ways to carry your loss while remaining connected to yourself, the person who died, and the life that continues around you.
Grief and loss aren’t simply one area of our work; they are the focus of Daylight Grief.
Our practice is dedicated to supporting adults navigating loss in its many forms, including the death of a spouse or partner, parent, child, sibling, friend, or other important person; pet loss; sudden and traumatic loss; anticipatory grief; and the secondary losses that can affect identity, relationships, roles, and belonging.
We also recognize that grief isn’t limited to death. Significant life transitions and non-death losses can bring their own experiences of grief, particularly when they involve the loss of a relationship, role, identity, future, or way of life.
Our specialization is supported by advanced training and education in grief, bereavement, traumatic loss, and thanatology, along with more than 15 years of clinical experience.
Our work draws from contemporary grief theory and evidence-informed approaches that recognize there is no single way to grieve. Rather than treating grief as something to overcome, we help people understand their experience and find ways to integrate loss into a life that continues to unfold.

I believe grief deserves space to be understood, not rushed or fixed.
My approach is compassionate, curious, and grounded in the understanding that there is no single way to grieve. I offer a place where you can speak honestly about your loss, make sense of what has changed, and explore what it means to carry that loss forward in your life.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you.
For one year, I shared a brief Mindful Monday recording each week...52 recordings offering simple mindfulness practices and reflections.
The complete collection is available to explore anytime. Choose a practice that speaks to you, or simply begin where you are.
